Flora School Days

Join us for our School Day event on June 2, 2018, 10am-4pm.

Each year in June, the Flora School Education Center celebrates and demonstrates historic folks arts and agriculture at Flora School Days.

School Days involves as many old-time skills as can be gleaned from volunteers. Annual favorites include blacksmithing, soap-making, silversmithing.  Musicians play old-time music throughout the day.

Besides the folk artist demonstrations, the Pie Social, a fund raising tradition from days of old, and the Dutch oven lunch provide plenty of food.

Volunteers lead tours of the school and the historic town of Flora. The Country Store sells hand made items, antiques, and more!

For more information on School Days or to volunteer or donate, call 541.828.7010 or email info@floraschool.org.

Money earned from the food sales and country store and all donations go towards the restoration of the Flora School and keeping folks arts and historic agriculture alive.
